NOVENA PRAYER FOR THOSE IN PRISON DAY FOUR, SATURDAY, 29TH APRIL, 2017

# BRIEF REFLECTION

On this fourth day of our Novena Prayers for Mr. Afumba Mombotwa, Mr. Inambao Kalima, and Likando Pelekelo we ask the Lord once more to surround them with his love and consolation. The magisterium of the Catholic Church forbids all forms of injustices done against any human person because we are all created in the image and likeness of God.

# Reaching out to political prisoners like Mr. Afumba, Mr. Inambao, and Mr. Likando is part of the Catholic Church’s ministry of evangelization. One of the principal teachings of the Church states explicitly that “nothing that concerns the community of men and women — situations and problems regarding justice… is foreign to evangelization, and evangelization would be incomplete if it did not take into account the mutual demands continually made by the Gospel.” (Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church, no. 66).

# Light your candle, make sign the of the cross and pray

# Great God in Heaven, You alone determine the future and know that which is not yet, so help these men: Mr. Afumba Mombotwa, Mr. Inambao Kalima, and Likando Pelekelo to see that You have a purpose for where they are now, and know that You can use anyone for Your glory and for Your purposes, including them. Father, make divine appointments for them, allow them to fix their eyes on You, and the hope for a future we can’t even imagine, and that hope is found in Christ, in Whose precious name we pray, amen.

Concluding Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You in Jesus’ name. Father, thank You for seeing everything that is going on in these men’s life. Thank You for always taking care of them in prison. I know You have a good plan for their lives, and You have promised that all things will work together for good because you love them and have called them according to Your purpose.

Father, You see what’s going on in their lives. You see the pain they suffer daily as prisoners of conscience. And Father, righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne. So Father, because You are righteous and just, I know that You are ready to move on their behalf. I believe that You are ready to reverse their situation in accordance with Your Word.

Father, I ask that You comfort them during this season. I charge the angels of God to minister to them right now in Jesus’ name. I bind away every lie, plot, and trick of the enemy off their lives and loose healing, wholeness, life, truth, and holy vindication into their lives.

I speak to the hidden things the Father desires to reveal through their imprisonment, and I command them to be revealed right now in Jesus’ name. I decree the light of the Holy Spirit must shine into this situation right now.

I call forth their release from prison and an end to their prison sentence in Jesus name. I decree that this situation will result in blessings AND INCREASE for many people in Jesus’ Name.

I enforce, impart, and release unity, forgiveness, healing, transparency, the Father’s love, and mercy into all those who connected with their imprisonment right now.

Amen.
